Через мій об’єктив як фотографа я бачила силу та мужність жінок, змушених емігрувати під час війни. Зйомка яскравих сімейних фото, а також слухання їхніх історій глибоко зворушила мене. Ці сміливці надягають броню для тих, кого люблять, навіть коли стикаються з самотністю чи безпорадністю, рішуче пробиваючись, незважаючи на темряву, яку приносить війна в наш сучасний час. Ці розмови висвітлили стійкість цих неймовірних жінок, надихаючи мене щодня робити все можливе, щоб зберегти такі дивовижні історії про виживання та перемогу над труднощами.
Незважаючи на виклики, з якими доводиться стикатися в цьому столітті, звичайні жінки залишаються потужною силою миру. Ми можемо зберегти їхні історії та поділитися ними, щоб наші діти зрозуміли, що ці неймовірні люди пережили під час війни. Тут ми маємо можливість підтримати, задокументувавши більше історій з усього світу – можливо, навіть знайти в собі сили розповісти свою власну історію.
Through my lens as a photographer, I've seen the strength and courage of women forced to emigrate during wartime. Capturing vivid family photos while also listening to their stories moved me profoundly. These brave souls put on armor for those they love even when facing loneliness or helplessness, pushing through with determination despite darkness that war brings in our modern times. The conversations I’ve had have illuminated the resilience these incredible women possess - inspiring me each day to do all I can help preserve such remarkable tales of survival and triumph against adversity.
Despite the challenges faced in this century, ordinary women remain a powerful force for peace. We can preserve their stories and share them to ensure that our children understand what these incredible individuals endured during times of war. Here we are given an opportunity to lend support by documenting more tales from around the world – perhaps even finding strength within ourselves to tell our own story as well.
